In a recent expedition to cross North Dakota three men using snow kiting techniques had to abandon their snow boards due to lack of snow. Our frozen footed friends were forced to swap their snowboard for mountainboards.
The expedition, called “To Cross the Moon,” takes snowkiters Sam Salwei, Paul Cassady and Jason Magness across western North Dakota, from the Canadian border to the South Dakota border, camping along the way.
