The last couple of weeks Mountainboard.net has been posting sections of One 5 Media’s, “Shralpdown!” their latest mountainboard video. If you haven’t already watched it you can watch the whole thing at www.onefivemedia.com.

Shralpdown! has been captured it full HD in order to deliver an amazingly crisp view of some of the best riding out there. Personally I love the editing job- killer film effects that really set the mood. I’m a freeride guy so I wanted to see more carving and mountain riding, the video was heavy freestyle but still good.

Check it out for yourselves and post your comments on this page. Everyone has their own opinion, what’s yours?

I agree. With the kind of quality that One 5 was throwin down, I was really hoping to see some sick downhill or some classic carve action. The freestyle was good though, a lot of excellent riders were featured. I give it a thumbs up with a hopes of a freeride video in the near future.

Ditto and ditto. I thought they did a fantastic job at editing, and the footage was second to none. But I am also more into the freeriding and would have liked to have seen more big mountain footage.
It is funny that a good chunk of the sport has left the mountains entirely and has almost gone strictly freestyle (except BX in comps).
For me, it is all about the big mountain. That is what really makes us stand apart from skateboards etc. Tis all good though, hopefully we can see some more freeriding in the future. I am looking forward to what they come out with. All amazing riders.
Justin, if you read this I may have an interesting proposition for you (think travelling high-end film festival, and a paid gig no less).
