When you first start down the road to mountain board stardom, there are a few key pieces of information you should know. One of them is tyre pressure.
High pressure = fast = as a beginner out of control and lying in the dirt
Low pressure = slower = more controlled , better learning environment.
When you are learning to board, you need to get the basics first, and a simple matter of lowering your tyre pressure to slow you down can pay great dividends
The science behind this is as follows, please pay attention, there will be a test at the end:
The lower the pressure, the higher the surface area your tyre will present to the ground. This in turn causes friction and slows the board down.
I don’t know why I bother. I can see you all madly pumping away to make it as hard and fast as possible (I’m talking about tyres you filthy monkeys).
