One Last Reminder

Posted on 14 July 2008 by admin

Don’t forget to subscribe!

With the change of ownership, MountainBoard.net has been busy getting everything in order and ready to roll. This week however, the best online mountainboard magazine known to man is strapped in and ready to ride! With a full posting schedule crammed with dirt tossing, adrenaline pumping, face in the mud action and everything that makes mountainboarding the greatest gift to gravity.

Something new will be released every weekday to keep the site fresh and new, so be sure to check out the new additions all week long. Videos, articles, reviews, interviews, news, and more. We aim to keep you up do date and ready to ride all week long- no excuses!

In order to assure that you don’t miss a single addition to MountainBoard.net, we’ve started our email subscription back up. Every Saturday, Mountainboard.net will send out an email to everyone who’s signed up that includes everything new that happened that week on the site.

If you’re not already signed up for the email, just go to “Email” or by RSS feed symbol, go to “subscribe to the feed via email.” From here you’ll be able to submit your email address and not have to worry about missing out on anything (and yes, subscription is FREE). The picture below shows you where to sign up.

MountainBoard.net Gets New Owner

Posted on 18 June 2008 by admin

I have been writing for MountainBoard.net since before it’s official opening and am stoked to be it’s new owner.  The hard work and long hours that have been dedicated to this site by it’s previous owner will not go to waste.  I’m commited to making MountainBoard.net the ultimate source for mountainboarders.  When you’re not out riding, this is where you’ll want to be to get your steady flow of fresh, new material to feed your crave.

The Doors are Open

Posted on 01 April 2008 by admin

So today is our official opening day, the virtual covers of our magazine are off and we are publishing. It seems like A bit of an anti climax really because we have been publishing and developing the site as if we were open for some time now. Just another day at the office.

We have been bringing you content quietly for about two weeks now and we are seeing a growing following in the mountainboard community. In our first couple of weeks we have seen about 5000 unique visitors to our site, and this is growing day on day.

Thanks to everyone who has subscribed to our e-mail list and become friends with us at our facebook site. When you start a new on-line magazine, the lack of feedback can be quite off-putting.

So what should you expect in from us?

Reviews
We will be reviewing all the latest boards and associated kit so you can make informed purchasing decisions. Any manufacturers listening we are happy to accept freebies for review. We would then use these for prizes in our …

Competitions
We are planning to run competitions on the blog, please stay tuned.

How To’s
Ryan our excellent writer from the US has been doing an excellent job building up our how to back catalogue of articles, we recently pulled together a small plan of future posts and they look great. Please stay tuned for those.

Interviews

We are preparing our rapid fire ten question interviews for riders and prominent people in the community. These will begin to roll out soon.

Videos
All the best in mountainboard videos will be ruthlessly scraped from YouTube, drop us a note using the contact form if you come across any good vids.

What we would like from you

This site is a blog, and it allows you to leave feedback in the form of comments, you can do this by clicking into an article and at the bottom is a comment form, fill it in and give us your feedback so we know we are writing the kind of content you are interested in,

We will also be publishing weekly surveys, again this is to let us know what you are all about. The surprise from this weeks survey “What style are you” was that we have a lot of kiters reading. As a result we will start writing articles about kiteboarding as well (not that I know the slightest thing about it, anyone want to write us some stuff? We will pay for good articles).

That’s all for now, I hope you are enjoying the site, if you need to know any thing else then please feel free to contact us
